“Water Conservation Strategies for Hospitals” will offer an overview and case studies that illustrate how to minimize water use in hospitals without compromising facility operations.

  • Robert Loranger, Director of Facilities, New England Medical Center Hospitals

    Robert Loranger, PE, is a 38 year experienced engineering manager with his initial eighteen years in the power plant design and construction industry and the most current twenty years in healthcare as the Director of Facilities for New England Medical Center Hospitals of Boston Massachusetts. In his current role he is responsible for all facilities operation, maintenance, construction, medical engineering, design and space planning. For four years Bob has served as the New England Representative on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) and served as the 1999 president. Bob was also the year 2000 New England Healthcare Engineers President. Bob is currently a Steering Committee member of the rewrite committee for the AIA Guidelines for Design and Construction of Healthcare Facilities, as well as a committee member for the Green Guide for Healthcare.
