About the H2E Healthy Future Fund
Be a contributor to the H2E Healthy Future Fund and assist H2E in helping the nation’s health care facilities to become more responsible environmental stewards.
The H2E Healthy Future Fund, has been launched to generate support for H2E and its work as it becomes an independent, not-for-profit organization. Your financial support will be helping the nation’s hospitals to reduce the negative environmental and community health impacts of providing health care by implementing practical and cost-effective programs that help save limited health care dollars.
The Fund’s goal is to support the growth of H2E’s educational programs and the development of collaborative approaches to achieving environmental goals. H2E is seeking tax-deductible contributions at the following levels:
- Platinum $20,000
- Gold $10,000
- Silver $5,000
All contributors will be acknowledged on the H2E website and may identify themselves as a Contributors to H2E in their own communications. Our highest category of donor, Platinum, will have their name, logo (if applicable) and a sentence describing their support on H2E’s homepage. Contributors will also receive regular communications on H2E’s activities, strategies and plans.
- The Healthy Future Fund is for the general support of H2E and its programs.
- The Healthy Future Fund is separate and distinct from H2E's Current Partner Programs. Partners may also choose to be Contributors to the Fund.
- Contributors may use the H2E Healthy Future Fund logo in accordance with the Fund Logo Guidelines Policy.
- Contributors may identify themselves as such for 12 months following the receipt of the contribution.
- H2E does not endorse the products or services of any contributors to H2E.
- The H2E "Green Guidelines" outline basic criteria for participation in the Healthy Future Fund.

Why a Fund?
This is a transition year for H2E. In 2006, the Healthy Future Fund will help transform H2E from a public-private initiative primarily funded by the U.S. EPA to an independent not-for-profit organization that will continue to provide assistance and resources while developing a sound business strategy to ensure its sustainability.
Government funding, while greatly appreciated and responsible for launching the program, has not kept pace with H2E’s tremendous growth and potential. While the growth is a testament to H2E’s success and the need for assistance that H2E can provide, it’s also been a challenge to continue to meet these growing needs. It is a challenge H2E is committed to meet and exceed.
