Become a State H2E Champion

Organizations that are committed to working with health care facilities to improve environmental performance can participate in H2E by becoming a Champion for Change. Becoming an H2E Champion for Change marks your organization as a leader in the national trend to improve environmental performance in health care, and makes your organization eligible for H2E's annual awards. Ideally, at least the state hospital association and the state pollution prevention agency in the state will apply for Champion status. H2E will work with your organization to apply to the Champion program, review your application goals and walk you through the approval process. H2E’s Champion Coordinator can answer questions about the application process and timeline. For sample goals and activities identified by other H2E Champions, please review our sample state Champion applications below.
